I have wondered this as well. Many callers say they are praying for him which raises obvious concerns.

He's very thin in his FB pics. Looks like a different person.

He does sound very weak on the radio and wasn't on full time. I don't listen to WNML regularly, but I haven't heard him on D, J, & H for several weeks. Hopefully I've just missed his segments.

I believe he was on week before last, and he did sound weak. I'm not sure if he is losing the battle or simply fighting through treatments. Either way, he is up against an evil opponent, and I wish him the best. I have watched both of my parents lose this battle with my mom passing recently in October. I am lucky so far to be a 5 year survivor myself, and I wouldn't wish the disease on anyone. I wish him the very best!

I was diagnosed in 9/15 and I am winning the fight. My best to you and Jeff.

About a week ago someone called in asking about Jeff. Mickey said he felt that was a private matter and that to keep Jeff in your prayers. I respect them no matter how bad that to keep it private unless Jeff wants to tell his story.

My prayers are with Jeff and any that battle this illness. Probably inappropriate to say but their show is just terrible without him. Heather and Doc are dolts and that squeaky voiced kid that they have now doesn't know much about being a competitor in sports.

Please pray for Jeff and that his family and friends will be comforted in this terrible time. Cancer sucks!

Jeff was very public with his inspiring battle with pancreatic cancer, but has chosen to be more private during this stage of his fight.

He and his family could definitely use your prayers at this time.

Best wishes to you and Peerless. I've said it on here before. Cancer is a terrible disease. It eats away at the person with it and the family. I've been in remission for 3 months now. Jeff, and all you guys keep up the fight!!!

From what I was told, Jeff has been working on days he feels strong enough. But they are getting fewer. He has fought hard and well.

This.

It seems the station's silence is speaking to his wishes for privacy at this point.

Cancer sucks, prayers up to he and all others in a fight with it.

Hearing Doc and Heather get chocked up over Jeff this morning show's us how much he is in need of our prayers. May God touch him and his family and all of my Vol family during this Christmas season.

Mickey made a plea that anybody that's not speaking with any of their family members to reach out and do so... because Jeff is unable to speak to his.

Family has become the most important thing in my life because of cancer (brother died 7 days after diagnosis in 2014 at age 40). No gifts this Christmas, just time well spent with loved ones. We all agree on this. Holidays are different now, still hard, but also good for the soul. Prayers for Jeff and his family, and all dealing with the big C this holiday season . . .

Go Vols!

Wow! That sounds horrible. I wasn't able to listen today. Is that the gist of all they said. Definitely thinking about Jeff.

I quit listening to the show a long time ago. No idea he was ill. What type of cancer does he suffer from? Did not know the man was ill. Prayers go out to him and his family.

Heather said she loves him and something about how special Christmas is to Jeff. I don't know if they archive shows, but they said it all just before signing off around 9:50ish.
