What is the difference between richt and kiffin?

The movie had to do with trusting in God, something we should all do and maybe the transition to a new coach and new system will not be so disatrous this time.

HAHAHA. My comments had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with religion. Come on though man. A team with punk kids who get crushed like flies every game all of a sudden become good because a man says a prayer. I'm just as religious as the next guy but give me a break. I was alluding to the fact that a quality movie might at least provide some sort of transition to at least make the plot believable.

lol.. Did he really think it was a football movie or were you just kidding??? I thought it was an awsome movie myself, but it wasn't anything to do with the football in the movie though....[/QUOTE

This is ridiculous. Of course I knew the movie wasn't about football as maybe you could've been able to tell by the fact that I mentioned the Left Behind series. It was not a well-made or good movie, sorry. It actually made many critics worst 10 movies list that year. I'm really sorry I ever followed up someone's Richt in Twister movie comment with a movie Richt was really in. Geez...

Good Call, I enjoyed it as well.:good!:
Most movie critics at least understand what the movie is about. That was not made to be a football movie.

Thank you all for insinuating I'm retarded. Unfortunately, I'm in fact a genius.

I'll reserve judgment until you make another post.
That movie was not Hollywood produced, and was funded by a church youth group.

Do some homework, before you blast something that you know nothing about.

Have a freakin' nice day.

For me, I don't frame the issue as Richt worked out so people should be all for CLK.

Georgia had been through a few coaches in a short amount of time so Richt was worth a shot. It worked out pretty well for them. I thought MH went right to the desparation pick in CLK. It could very well work out and that would be awesome but I can't understand how some are happy with MH.

My view on CLK: Alright, he's the guy so give him a shot. A real shot! This is a huge hill to climb with the quality of coaching at the schools the Vols will face yearly. CLK will not have the luxury of having to face Chizik (spelling?) and the bafoon at LSU on a yearly basis... No, he will face Saban and Meyer with Spurrier and Richt sprinkled in for a respite.... Not pretty at all! So he should have at least five years to show what he can do or this will turn into a circus like Alabama went throught the last 12 years or so and LSU went through before Saban. But if it doesn't work out, MH should go with him (I'll help load the moving van).

Bama's problem was they wanted an ex. Bryant player to be the next Bear, and could not let go until proven it was not gonna work.:cray:

Reality set in and they BOUGHT a coach. I don't think we went that far, but we stepped out side the box.

The main difference is Kiffin Rules and rict sucks lol:D

I liked the hire but Lane has a lot to do before he is crowned. I like the staff, so far and the other possibilities that have been mentioned, but he is walking into the most competitive division in college football. Thus a total review of the hire is incomplete. He is smart and knows it takes a great staff to be a great team. He has his work cut out for him, but he is already on the right track.:good!:

Agree, I am a Kiffin Optimist, but I also realize it ain't gonna be easy. He needs the type of staff it looks like he is going to get.

How much longer does Richt have at GA? IMO,he has 2 more years to do something major before the red and black faithful start calling for a head on platter.

He is not in trouble yet, he has put a competitive team on the field every year. It would have gone a long way to cash in on the David Greene, and Pollack years with a NC, but he is not in any danger in the near future.

Lol Facing the Giants had the worst acting I've ever seen in a movie. It was like a GPTV special. I realize that the movie was about trusting in God and you will accomplish great things, but if you don't think those were the worst piece of trash actors on the planet then you have no hope. Alot of dead silence in that movie, it was like a daytime soap. Just goes to show you can make a crap movie and stamp religious on the box and it will sell like hotcake. The idea was great, the actual movie was trash.

Dude, I just knew this thread would draw in 5150 somehow.
He is who I got the Title from. We had this discussion a few days ago. Just wanted to get other reactions. And we end up talking about the weather. Oh well.
