Considering I'm a student at UT, and I'm a huge fan of the Vols. I don't think I'm a homer. I cheered for Manning just like the rest of you and if Manning won the Heisman it would not have bothered me one way or the other. But Woodson was the better player. He won it because of the specific plays he made. The INT vs. Michigan State and his impact on the entire OSU game that kept UM undefeated.
Please show me a source where those cats said that.
Champ Bailey's team also wasn't undefeated and was embarassed by our Vols and Florida that year. The way you win and the the way the rest of your team performs has a huge impact on Heisman voters.
And the Heisman isn't about stats. If it was, then Texas Tech would be producing Heisman QBs left and right, so please end the whole "so and so had the same stats as Woodson" arguement, so therefore so and so should have won it.
Also to come on here and blast me, calling me a f****** idiot shows your class. Forgive me for voicing my opinion on the subject. Grow up.
