what is the big surprise this weekend?

Nobody wants a pink field.

There are players on the team, people on the staff, kids in the band, fans in the stand, and posters on this board who have loved a woman who has fought this hideous disease. And if neither of you are capable of comprehending the fact that this isn't a freakin' joke, then you're too pathetic to waste my time on. Sorry to take up your posting time. I'm done. Have it.

My comprehension is just fine. I said a patch or wristband was just fine. (This is what we usually do). I said a pink T, pink field, and pink checkerboard was gay.

My grandmother had breast cancer and survived. I guess I'm still heartless, though since I don't want to see gay pink on the field.

Sorry you tough man(probably redneck. Pink is not gay. Thanks for being a sheep though and letting society put that into your head. Would a pink T or checkers be a little overboard? Yes.

But not by much. It also would not be gay. And it would also only be for one game. The attention it would draw would great.

Hilarious statement. I'm the farthest thing from redneck. A pink T or pink checkerboards would be gay. This is football.

Saying that a statement that would connect with survivors and fighters nationwide is "gay" is hilarious. Gay either means being happy or having sex with another guy. Painting endzones a different color to support the eradication of an incurable disease is not, in any way, homosexual. If anything, it's telling those courageous people and those hopeful supporters that more than just they are pulling for them/their loved one. If my mom was fighting breast cancer, I'd appreciate the support of 100k people, let alone the thousands more that will recognize the effort (thanks to ESPN, NBC, etc).
