What is really going on??

My company hired a manager at roughly the salary we are talking about a little over a year ago... Presumably, there are ALOT more guys qualified to do his job than OC at UT. The full process of finding who the company thought was the right guy- including culling some and being turned down by others was between 6 mos and 1 year.

Those who think CPF has failed because he hasn't hired a replacement in less than a month that included the holidays aren't being realistic.

It would have been nice to have a hire made... but the fact that he's had even as many serious, qualified candidates suggests that he and Hamilton were well prepared for this contingency.
