I had been watching UT football for several years with my dad when he came along but he was probably my first “favorite player”. He always seemed like a really good dude and was a truck to bring down. What’s he up to now?

Super cool. I googled him but couldn’t find much. I found a Mose Phillips on LinkedIn but wasn’t sure if that was him or not with no picture. I’m glad he’s doing well. Me and my childhood buddy still talk about him.

He sucks as a coach and a person. I personally been around this guy and have heard him call and say some very terrible things to several kids. Cane Ridge is loaded with D1 talent that has been going unrecruited due to the coaches staff only caring about the wins and losses, rather than trying to get those kids into college. They also recruit heavy preying on single moms throughout the Nashville, Antioch and Laverne areas. I can go on days talking about the coaching staff at Cane Ridge. I know several educators that work for Cane Ridge who have kids that are very good football players that has chose not to allow their kids to attend CR. The coaching staff act like a bunch of Thugs lead by the head coach Woods who was suspended this past season for jumping on and hitting one of the star players in the head. With the Gentrification going on in Nashville that has forced family out and towards the Antioch area CR has become the it school. So it’s not so much of the coaching there is great as it is they just have really good athletes.

I won't say much but I'm not impressed with the coaches there. They have played favorites over the years. A lot of talent landed in their laps. I know first hand living in Antioch. I will say there is a strong TSU flavor there. Also some really good kids on the team that are great students and hard workers because of wanting to keep some of there favorites in the game on all special teams and both sides of the ball some kids don't get in games. Losses to disciplined teams.
