I’ve been lurking on the LSU message boards the last few days and the indication there is he’s already made up his mind to take the job, and will be bringing Ed Orgeron on board in an assistant coach/coordinator role. Also that Lane will not coach the Rebels in the CFP and Pete Golding will take the reins.

My original comment was about DeBoer to PSU, not any adultery rumors. I said the PSU thing before Travis.

I hope stays. It would bring some stability to this head coach head hunting. Salaries and contracts are going to be unbelievable in a little bit.

Marty Smith just reported Kiffin’s meeting with the AD has concluded and the feeling from those at Ole Miss is his unwillingness to commit and publicly announce he is staying at Ole Miss is an indicator he’s leaving. The one piece to still be figured out is whether he will coach the Rebels in the CFP.

This comes as no surprise to anyone. Just waiting on the official announcement.

While Ole Miss is the better job vs Arkansas, man I just don't know about backing out after you agreed to take the job.

To be honest, I would lose a decent amount of respect for him if he did that. Maybe I'm just old school, but if you're OM why would you want to go from Kiffin to a coach who broke his word to take your job?

The longer he drags it out which is exactly what he's done,the more that it looks like he's gone.He would have already made his mind up by now if he was staying. I hate it for Ole Miss fans,but I'll be glad when we move on from this soap opera.
