We painted a house in downtown Sweetwater and the lady that owned the house gave everybody (about 5 of us) a pound of Benton's Bacon a piece, for a tip. Best bacon I have ever had, I ended up getting another pound from one of my co-workers, that is VeganBut Benton's ham and bacon are just down the road. That alone is worth living in the area!
He probably dead now from broke heartedness... even if I went vegan, I would keep bacon as my side pieceWe painted a house in downtown Sweetwater and the lady that owned the house gave everybody (about 5 of us) a pound of Benton's Bacon a piece, for a tip. Those coolers will never be the same. It's amazing how long your clothes smell like smoked meat after you shop there.I was in LC last week and I wound up making 2 trips to Benton's. Once my buddies in Sarasota/ Bradenton found out I was visiting the folks the orders started coming in. Between Benton's and The Cajun Meat Co. in Marietta, GA I filled 2 coolers worth of meat. My poor dog couldn't stand it!
