Evidently the standard for being “educated to dims is simply enrolling into school and acquiring 6 figures in debt you intend to never pay back.
A good education should teach you how much you don’t know and give you an appreciation of your own limitations of intelligence. The „education“ preferred by libs often results in an arrogant know it all attitude mixed with an absolute certainty of being correct on every question. Socrates said it best

I agree. I think the ability to learn means more than talking about going to school and believing you’re a “critical thinker” because some tenured looney told you so. So many kids at these “prestigious” universities couldn’t even tell you what day the 4th of July is on.

We will see how this goes. I’m fine with parts of the bill, but I doubt they address the MIC budget at all. Medicaid…my concern is the impact on rural hospitals. Before ACA, the argument was that 10% of Americans did not have (access) health insurance. As of 2023 I found 8% did not, so a fairly nominal impact in the number of people covered post ACA implementation…considering many of the people that went to the exchanges were forced off their health insurance by the law itself.

They will bicker over this but in the end, enough Republicans will hold their nose and vote for it. Trump has more than enough power to get this passed.

I would hope Republicans would then get to work on some fiscally conservative bills to cut down on spending. If Dems won't sign on, put it to a vote and make 'em go on the record

GOP Rep. Tim Burchett says Trump gave assurances to House members in meeting

By The Associated Press

Burchett said Trump was “very forthright” with him and Freedom Caucus members at a meeting at the White House on Wednesday.
The meeting lasted nearly two hours with the president, and others in the room, including Vice President JD Vance, answering questions, Burchett said.
He said assurances were made to the members, including involving Medicaid.
“He answered a lot of my questions,” Burchett said, adding that he’s since talked to the president on the phone. “I still am not sure. I’m leaning in favor of the course.”
