As I've stated before, I earned my negavol badge during the Dooley error. I was hammered by those who insisted that he needed more time and blindly followed him because he had a pair of orange pants.

So that explains it....
That was before my time on this board.
I had never seen you called a nega and was a little curious why you seemed defensive over the term.
In my time here, I have seen you point out negatives AND praise positives.. Totally adverse to my definition but then again, I don't think I have ever called someone that.

I told him I don't consider him one due to him enjoying positive developments way too much...the "badge of honor" thing reminds me of my sweet niece at UT...she comes from a Republican family but beats the drum for liberal causes...even though she really doesn't like the people...or the causes. :)

I try to stay middle of the road. I will admit I can get pretty negative when things go badly. I also tend to get way too positive when things go well. Maybe I'm just bipolar. Lol!

I think we all hit the bipolar mark, I try to wait to post when mine hits.... Doesn't mean I don't think it though or that I always succeed in waiting lol.

Is this the case with Catbone also? At worst, his comments seem 50/50 but I see he uses nega as a self description also?

I think you suggested I was on vicodin earlier this week and I just laughed when I read it.

Either way guys- Doyle, Cat, and (maybe to a lesser degree) Sjt and even Count will be honest when something is a positive/negative. I will not use names now either but from what I have seen, there are a couple that just never say anything positive.
I'm ok with debating them and maybe it's just my timing again.

I like Sjt and Count. That's not to say that I always agree with them. Sjt seems to really research his points and does make some valid ones at times. I honestly never understood why he is attacked so much on this message board. Honestly, I see his posting style attacked way more than his points.
My take on Count, right or wrong, is he is more like myself. He likes to stir the pot and sit back and be entertained by the reactions. I can tell that he is a very good guy from our interactions on here.
One thing I am fully confident of is that they are both true fans of the Vols.

I agree. Counts giveaway is his sense of humor. Nobody can have that and honestly have a severe negative outlook lol.
Attacks on SJT: This is from observation but everyone debates. People seem to be "put off" by his wording.
As if he states opinion as fact just because it is HIS opinion. Not saying that is my take, just when I read the debates, I see it pop up often.
Probably the aggressiveness without enough humor so that people see both sides.
Something you or Butchna would no nothing about lol

The final edit has been made. :)

The pumpers loved Dooley and defended him until the end while those that felt Tennessee could do much better were railed against as nega-vols.

as for the ignore feature, I put the Spurrier guy on ignore because it reminds me that no matter how stupid the thread he makes is, I know he's never ever, ever, never never coming back to look at it, so there's no need in pointing out to him how stupid his thread is.
