Mods please do not merge/delete - I’ve been in surgery since 5 am and I am so confused now that I finally get my phone back in recovery room. So now we’re not getting mike leach? Is Currie fired? What in the Sam hells is going on???

Currie is taking the job at Washington State, Fulmer will be the new/interim AD (I'm still not totally sure on that myself), the new coach remains to be seen

Currie fired, Fulmer stepping in and as best I can tell no on Leach but nothing confirmed that I know of.. Press conf at 4EST

Boosters, Davenport,DiPietro, AD admin,AA, and Fulmer led a coup. They have fired Currie and effectively ended the tyrannical reign of Haslam over the university. Today is a good day, however the village idiots are blaimh Fulmer for everything and the sky is apparently falling.

I think that sums it up

Internet rumors abound that we were going to hire Mike Leach. No real proof just reports. Reports are Currie went rouge to go get Leach. Currie was fired today. Fulmer to be named either interim or permanent AD in a press conference later today.

We are still in a state of free fall.

Basically Currie went rogue (again) to Leach to possibly save his job.
Recalled and got fired this morning 0900 with cause.
Fulmer AD 2 years.
Says he is going to Tampa and won't be back without Gruden.*
HoH burning.

We supposedly had Mike Leach on the hook, but Currie was fire either because of the potential hire or before it could take place. No one is really sure. Now he's gone, Fulmer is AD, and there is a press conference in 20 minutes.

and Phil shywalker killed Currie. The british have surrendered in Knoxville. The Vol rebels have won and the peasant rule again. The king is Dead. Long live the King.

You are like Rick Grimes waking up and everything has gone to hell. I would stay in the hospital as long as your insurance will pay for it.

Currie Fired early this morning.

Fulmer announced as Acting Director of Athletics officially. rumor is it's a two year deal.

Pressor at 4:00 est.
