Brian Kelly is my opinion even though the guy who is writing a book about Fulmer's last year says that Calhoun was the 2nd option.

just think if we had gotten calhoun from air force we would look like ga tech so thank god we got kiffin and we will be running pro set on offense and not double wing inwhich is a thing of the past

I don't think Calhoun's true system is the triple option. I think he only used it because of the players he inherited. JMO

He wasn't interested in the job at the time it was open. Had he known the Bucs would fire him, it might have been different, but he couldn't have seen that coming.

well another part of that is they didn't fire him till after monte decided to leave...so it's possible that he could have still been coaching at Tampa if we didn't have kiffin and he didn't sign away his daddy
