What if both UF and Tennessee win out. What if Tennessee lays 40 points on the Bammers in a blowout win? Would you guys be happy then?

I don't think anything is going to take away the bad taste in people's mouth around here. We will always remember that game when thinking of the 2007 season even if we win every game by 30 and win our bowl. We will remember that game, and THEN whatever else happens, good or bad. That's life as a diehard fan.

I am sure you can understand. Think about a really disappointing loss your team had (I know, it's been awhile:banghead2:), like say the Miss. State game. That game will always be one of the things you remember about that year. Yes, Florida is in a different galaxy than Miss. State, but the beat down pretty much sent us out of Florida's galaxy and over into Mississippi State's. imo.

If Florida wins out then yes ill be happy because that would mean a date with USC more than likely and thats the game everybody wants to see.

Anybody that says they wouldnt be happy if Tennessee wins out is probaly not a UT fan at all

Don't get me wrong, I would love for UT to win out. I am just saying it isn't going to erase that game from anyone's conscious. That was a real stinger.

Not until CPF is gone and replaced with someone outside the UT program. I think the program needs a fresh face who won't be afraid to try new things.

It doesnt really bother me that much because I knew going into that game we didnt haver much of a chance. Tebow is perfect for Meyers offense

Then I watched some spring drills and the dude was throwing 60 yard spirals on a line,( so there went the doubt that he was just a runner.
Add in losing Cottham, Fellows, & Morley (im probaly forgetting someone else...oh yeah & Meachem) so I wasnt too stunned we lost

It would be nice to win out; it would be nice to pound Alabama. But it wouldn't make me feel any better about what happened Saturday.

A gap has clearly opened between the top two teams in the SEC and everybody else. Winning out would just make us the best of the also-rans.

I would be happy that we won, but until we get a new coach, or this staff changes to a more modern system I will be disappointed.

i might be satisfied with the way things turned out after such a dismal start. but, i still think ut is in need of a change. if fulmer can't beat meyer, tennessee's chances of getting another sec title are in jeopardy.

Even if we win out (which is 0% chance the way we're playing), we would still be the 3rd best in the SEC. I'm sick of 3rd best and mediocrity. Tennessee hasn't won the SEC since 1998.

Yes we won a nationl title in 1998 - But what has the coaching staff done for us lately? Besides embarrassed the Univerity and Players on National TV. Twice so far this year - more to come I am sure!

That is a big what if? Based on what we have seen of Tennessee this will not happen. Kentucky and Vandy may have a shot at beating us.

I really don't see how Vandy can beat us. They don't seem like they have the team to do it this year.

I won't be happy until the name plate on the outside of the Tennessee head coach's office no longer reads Fulmer.
