What If....

Not sure why this is important.
Jarrett Gaurantano was already starting by 2018. Lawrence would have been on the bench.
Ty Chandler was ranked ahead of Etienne.
Jennings and Calloway were an awesome combo. WR was not a problem.

Defense has been trash for much of the past 3 years. When our dline improved so did the team

Let’s wait and see if Pruitt can actually develop a QB and decent offense before we start claiming all these offensive studs would have happily committed to him. Elite recruits may have grown up UT fans, but for many college is a 3-4 year prep and interview for the NFL. A lot of them aren’t going to just take a gamble on an unproven coaching staff.

You dont thing Trevor Lawrence (the best NFL qb prospect in years) would beat out JG? Tee Higgins wouldn't see the field because of Jennings (7th round pick) and a guy who went undrafted? You must be smoking something good. Talent beats out seniority.

JG is more accurate when he is not thinking too much. More accurate than Lawrence.
( Who btw is not the best prospect this season or last)
For example: IN PRACTICE.
Very confident in practice.

Burrow was better last season. Fields is better than Lawrence this season.

Yes. Lawrence is better than JG.

They would have separated themselves from the pack after a hand full of games. WR depth would have been crazy good, like go 4 wide every time.

So JG can dump down, throw late and high over the middle, or just get sacked.
