At this point we committed to White. He has a great record of successful hires so we have to trust he hasn’t forgotten how to do his job by being in town for less than a week.

An interim would not be your first option but there would be some upside, possible better definition about the NCAA penalties, opportunity to get self imposed restrictions in place and a clean year on the compliance and recruiting side, get through remaining Covid attendance restrictions in Fall 2021, give Kiffin an opportunity to hang 60 on Tennessee in Neyland and let everybody see if he has grown up and matured

True. Ideal scenario would be for us to be able to hire someone good now. But, if white finds out that none of his targets are that interested due to awaiting ncaa punishments, then it could be more harmful to hire someone with not much experience. I’m trusting in him.
