Let's say we scored 17 more points in the 1st half after being in the red zone 3 times. Halftime score would have been 21-20. Would the outcome of the game been different?

Had we scored on each play that we should have reasonably scored on, to include the last play of the game when Hurd didn't cross the goal line, we would have won by a score of 63 to 28.

Since bUTch got on campus, we had been closing the gap between us and Florida. How long did Florida really expect to keep beating us? The past two seasons games were really close and they were lucky to get out of there with a win.

Thank you. I was telling people today that if we scored in all reasonable situations (including dropped passes), it would have been a complete blow-out. However, I'll take the final score just fine - thank you.

Spotting them 21 and 30 minutes and then having our way with them was way more epic

AND painful for their team and fans, LOVE seeing that 1000 yard stare today by some of their supporters!!

It hurts doesn't it beyotches?!?!? LOL

In hindsight I'm happy we had to rally. It gave this team a real identity plus it has been glorious watching the meltdown among Gator fans. We not only took their lunch but ate it in front of them. We were owning them in the 4th and was and Hurd almost made it 45-28. Hell even in the first half we were moving the ball but couldn't get out of our own way.

Going back and watching shows me that the game wasn't as close as the final score indicated. If we can learn to put it together for 4 quarters we can be unstoppable imo. We imposed our will on the self described "Best Defense in CFB" sat and we still haven't played all the way to our potential yet.

Maybe Dormady could've gotten in the game if the we had boat raced the gators out of the stadium earlier. But is was probably more fun watching them watch their lead slip away for a change.

I really don't want to think about what happens otherwise in this game. We won, it was the best half of football I've seen a Tennessee football team play this century. Although to actually answer the thread, I wonder if we would of dropped 60 on the gators had we not of had those drops, TO's, etc in the first half. And the other part of me wonders if we would of been content with where we were and kept the offense really tight. Who knows what would of happened had we played tight in the 2nd half.

I like to hope that Jones would have kept his foot on the accelerator but I don't know....
