"What if" regarding Leach and Texas Tech

What if UT paid the 2.4 mil (or thereabouts) that Leach is owed by TT and then get Leach here?

That would be cheaper than Broehm's 5.75 mil.

I wish Currie was being a little more open about this whole process. He may be in over his head though.
