During the SC game I wanted us to go for it on 4th at least 2 times. After that game and seeing that Butch is seemingly very in-tune with #team117 and what they are capable of I want Butch to keep making those decisions. He said he bases it on practice and in the last 2 weeks that method seems to be working nicely.

Sorry but we can depend on Mr. North making big catches for about two and a half more seasons. :rock:

Worley has also hit plenty of open receivers, and very nicely at that. He just has to do it CONSITENTLY.

He also threw into triple coverage and threw a lazy far hash deep out to North (that should have been intercepted). Worley still scares me when he throws.

I get it; you like to think of Verne as a real person with real family, friends and feelings. That's probably all true. But accepting for the slight possibility that it is not, am I really that out of line to wish for him to die on the air in some manner which prevents him from finishing what ever obnoxious thing he was in the process of saying about the Vols? Surely we can find some middle ground here.

He was wide open on three third downs that I saw (and would have had the first) but Worley didn't go through his progression to get to him. Had me yelling obscenities.

I just want to see this in effect on Saturday:

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.
2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.
3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.
4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.
5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.
6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.
7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

Saturday is my 49th birthday and I want more than anything for us to beat Bama, Yes even birthday sex. OK, I want birthday sex with my wife too, but I will enjoy it so much more if we beat Bama.
