The so called experts of college football.

I know this season has been crazy and practically nobody could have picked all of the upsets that have occured....

But these "experts" contniue to make picks for the rest of the season and then have to change them every week because they end up being wrong...

If you want an example...look at the bowl projections on ESPN...we were picked for the Capital One last week and after a good win against a decent SEC team on the road we have dropped to the Chick-fila

Whats funny is...next week, after we trounce Bama...they'll have us picked for a differant one

I guess the point of this thread is...if these guys are getting paid to make predictions that ultimately come true and yet they aren't coming true...then what are they getting paid for?

Shoot.....I think I could do as good or better than most of the "experts" right now.

I've got a 931% score in my College Pick'em right now

They are getting paid for the entertainment value. A prediction at best is an educated guess, that's why you have people that pick their favorite mascots in a NCAA Tournament pool at work and beat experts.

I think I'm just having a bad day at work so I'm venting...

I never really put much stock in what they predict...I just use it as fuel for my argument that they're all a bunch of overpaid morons

this just isn't that hard. They're not paid to be correct. They're paid to generate ratings, period.
