I agree the show was a joke toward JUCO. The kids on the show are literally retarded. The only person on the whole show you could understand was the white quarterback and that's not being rascist that's being a realist.

Nothing racist about it. A poor grasp of the English language isn't bound to a certain ethnicity. If you don't believe me, just watch an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. That show has to use subtitles as well.

I noticed that Auburn must be desperate for a QB since they offered John Franklin because of one good half against an absolutely terrible juco team.

Awesome show btw.

This is what I noticed too. Those coaches wanted so badly to hand him that QB1 job and he was incapable of performing.

Wyatt Roberts is a really interesting case. He sat behind Chad Kelly 2 years ago, who is now probably the best QB in the SEC, and started over former FSU commit and potential 2016 Auburn starter John Franklin III last year, yet wasn't even going to be on a college team at any level until a guy transferred from Miss State about a week ago.

EMCC's reasoning as to why JFIII didn't start was that they are more of a vertical passing offense, but that seems like an excuse to me. If that is the case, why didn't JFIII go to a place that fit his style more? Isn't the point of juco to go to a place where you're going to play as much as possible and look as good as possible?

As OHvol said they wanted to give him that starting job so badly but just couldn't pull the trigger on it. The smug "I'm too good to be here" attitude he had throughout the show didn't really help.

Roberts eventually did walk on at Miss State

JFIII mentions in the first episode that the only reason he was there is because all the other juco schools were full. Basically he had no where else to go.

I can't understand people from Boston. These guys come from places where education takes a back seat. Uneducated yes, but not retarded or dumb.

No but a basic grasp of the English language and some annunciation goes a long way. These kids, while not retarded, could definitely use some of that. Accents are a different story, and if I was that woman, I would have slapped those phones outta their hand.

Those kids have been short changed by their parents and public schools. If they received half the tough love in the classroom that they received on the gridiron they would be much more prepared for life after football. It sucks but I blame the public schools more than the players.

I was surprised to see Clint Trickett as the QB coach. I remember he retired a couple seasons ago after his senior season at WVU due to concussions. Everyone made a big deal before WVU played Bama a couple seasons ago that he was close to the Saban family when he was a kid or dated his daughter or something like that. Anyways, thought it was cool to see him in a place like Scooba when he comes from a coaching/playing family.

On my last 2 episodes. Any fan of college football should watch this. Great insight to what a JC is. Not sure how much is for show, but, might explain Blair etc, on why they did not pan out. That Ollie fella comes to mind when I think of Blair.

Million dollar talent, 10 cent head.

Just to clear it up, Blair is by no means a "10 cent head" guy.

He's a good kid, who worked hard in school and graduated with a degree from UT.

His issues were more related to the physicality of the SEC. He should of played ball at the FCS level.

I agree.. Isn't it funny.. They walk out during classes or skip them.. But during practice they stick with it even if the coach is cussing them and running them til they puke.. They might gripe, yet stick with it.. But they feel like they're about torchered to death to sit through class.. Interesting..

I had the same experience working with addicts at a rehab center.. It was murder to them to sit in a meeting.. They would leave rehab and go back to jail, rather then spend 28 days in the program.. I think most, the way they had been raised and lived, can only can function under the authoritative type environment..

Then why did he go the JUCO route?
