Does anyone get the vibe that this guy really and truly cares about his players? When the players got arrested, he seemed heartbroken. And when Wes got that interception on Senior Night, he went crazy. I was SHOCKED he showed any emotion. Kiffin is all business, which I love, but he truly cares about these student athletes and wants them to succeed. I truly hope that he and this staff stay a very long time. Thanks for a great season Coach! Lets go bowling! GO VOLS!

it seems that way to me too. People tried to make CLK out to be a selfish guy, but it does seem like he genuinely cares for his players

To truly see how much this staff cares about UT, watch the Kentucky highlights when Marsalous caused that fumble and we recovered.

It took me a little while to love CLK, but after the win at KY, with a beat up team...I think we will be fine...TN is on a great upswing, and I love it...lets go bowling!

he's a great coach and he is committed to winning. He more worried about winning and building a dynasty than money.He's wasn't happy to just play with bama or florida HE EXPECTS TO WIN. I remember during the wku game, brown broke a 30 yd run and stepped out of bounds. kiffin and the other coaches pulled brown off the field and grilled him for stepping out of bounds. that let me know that this guy was serious. He expects perfection and he does care about his players. I'm excited to see what kiffin and this staff can do with the players thier recruiting in the next few yrs. hell of a season guys.

And the way he protects the O. Saying their mistakes is on him and his staff when things go wrong. He is definately a players coach.

What I like most about CLK:
1. He hates to lose
2. He doesn't want to beat the opponent he wants to destroy them
3. Cocky-ness
4. Has man jewels (going for it on 4th down)
5. He is nothing like CPF

His swagger is what i like most about him. He brought a type of cockyness that Fulmer lacked and our program needed. I also hope CLK stays here for a long time. Go Vols!

I agree with all 5 and i would like to add one if that's ok. His wife is hot. She's so hot she makes other women that are hot, look not so hot. she is bangin

Really makes you wonder about the Raiders and all the antics that have gone on there this year. I read that Kiffin tried to fire the "guy" who alledgedly got 'punched" by current HC who supposedly tried to fire him again. All involved say this "guy" holds NO position other than Tattle Tail for the Crypt Keeper.... I honestly feel bad that Lane had to deal with that nonsense and we have to hear about the baggage created by a clearly out of control organization..... Yikes !

I give him an A. He has took what Fulmer left behind and could not win with. He got recuits who never thought of UT to sign at the last minute. He made Crompton look like what he should have looked like with all the hype he had coming out of high school. He talk some trash, fired of the fan base like no other in some in time. He hired great staff to help coach. Got us going in the right direction to be contenders in the SEC and BCS in the coming years. Went almost a year before any criminal acts of the players something Fulmer could not do. He cut any loose ends that were not true players for the Big Orange. The staff and him are bringing in a great recruiting class. I can not be happier with Coach Kiffin. Yes he has offended others but I dont care, I actually love it!! Keep up the hard work and I am excited to spend many more years as Coach K as head coach! :rock::rock:

Agree, adding one more thing.
He hates losing so bad he changes clothes at half-time to out-dress the opposing coach.

He is definitely a player's coach! He may not be the kindest guy when talking to the media or about opposing teams, but so many of our players talk about how much they like him. I think he connects with a lot of the guys, and I think that is why he is able to get so much out of them (See Crompton).
