He came pretty close to making an ass out of Nick Saban and ruining his National Championship season. The time when UT makes the clutch play at the end of that game to crush the Bammers' hopes is not that far off. I bet you cry a lot.

And I love hearing this kind of constant negativity from the guy that praised Gene Chizik from coming a horsecrap offensive pass interference penalty away from losing to Northwestern.

My friend, a VT fan, sent me a link to this thread. He said he thought VT fans were bad because they don't believe they can ever win a NC, but he said Vol fans have some real issues. I think after reading volsrock212's post I agree.

A lot of trolls pose as Vol fans on here, I would not doubt one bit that volsrock is a troll.

TN LOST TO BAMA. You know that right? I'm so sick of hearing, we ALMOST won. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THEY LOST!

At least Chizik didn't embarrass the University at his bowl game. I thought his plan looked pretty good. He does have some problems on Defense but who cares. He went out his first year with a bang.

I do cry a lot. :cray:

Stephens is about on the same level as Greg McElroy. The coaching staff is going to have to start coaching up the players.

I think Lane needs to pray that he does not have his dad retire or Chaney leave any time soon....If he hired an average staff this year would be bad. I think he owes a ton to his staff.

i never realized how many bad fans UT has until i starting reading threads on this site. some of you need to realize that tennessee simply does not have the talent they used to. give kiffin some time to get some players in here and let our excellent coaching staff do their job...
it would not have mattered if vince lombardi was coaching some of our games this year, the players failing to execute will continue to cost us games.
with the schedule we have next year and the projected talent that is going to be on the field, a 7-8 win season next year will be a success.

He did about as much as someone could ask. It was the Badnews Bears without the Hollywood ending. He took leftovers and a few stars and pieced together some wins. There were 2 games that we just flat out didn't have a chance to win in the the 4th quarter.

We competed, and saw what this system can do once we have some talent.

The X's and O's are great, we just need players that can get it done.

What has Lane proven.......well to start with he has a top 10 recruiting class coming in next year.......2 he does not have any fear of play freshman......3 he listens to his staff.........4 he is building a winning program at Tennessee.......do I need to say more????
