What has Florida proven to this point....

Its hilarious that someone who thinks that Troy was found in the garbage thinks that USM was a top notch team.

WHATS EVEN MORE FUNNY is the fact I never said anything about Troy being garbage......I think I asked if anyone knew what kind of teams Troy and Western Ky had....yanno, defenses and offenses and stuff like that

It definitely seemed like you hinted at that. You said UF proved nothing, and act like we proved to be outstanding yesterday.

Well, Western Kentucky, after getting blown out by us, promptly went back to their own division and pasted someone 80 to 0.

Cumberland College. Didn't they once lose 222-0?

Yes. Well, Cumberland College is now called University of the Cumberlands....and it gets confusing. It was either University of the Cumberlands or Cumberland College that lost to Georgia Tech 222-0.

Florida didn't have to prove anything from 1994-1997 before that beat the hell out of us.

That they can score. And score. And score. And score.

Against........who? UF will be in for quite a shock. Up until now it is easy to see why Tebone feels so comfortable at QB. Bring scheme. Bring speed. Watch him bleed. Go Vols.

Florida has proven their D is not as good as last season.

Last year they played two tougher cupcakes (UCF and Southern Miss) and allowed only 7 points between them. This year against easier competition they've allowed 41 points in the first two games.

you also have to take into account the fact that they were up 49-7 at the half against troy...so maybe their defense does not have as much depth as they had last year, but you can bet that their starting 11 are almost has good as they were last year.

It's not so much what Florida has proven to this point its what UT has proven.

1. Bad run defense
2. Bad against option teams

This is not a good match-up for UT. The Florida team with Tebow as QB and Leak is going to be different. From what I've read about the spread option, Meyer spreads the field to make it easier to run the ball. His offense is really a run offense.

I think UT has to score 40+ points to win this game. Florida's defense will have better athletes then Cal's did. I don't see it happening.
