What happens when you chant fire Currie at game?

I want Currie gone as much as the next guy, but come on man.

No way he is “having this done to people.” I’m sure that guy was being a jackass.

If any coach out there is looking for a passionate fanbase....well look no further!!!!!

10 years of frustration and a 4-8 season will do wonders for Fans, just ask Tennessee:crazy:

I thought Colton Jumper made a tackle for a minute there, but then I realized he would have arrived after the guy was already on the ground.

Supposedly he accepted the job, butt Beverly said the buyout was too high, so now Haslam and Currie are creaming their jeans over NC State's coach.

They turned away a guy after accepting the job.

Oh, dear God.

I'm sorry, y'all.

I really am.

You can't make this up.

I really don't think this video will be viewed by media outlets like some may think it will. Considering how most of the ESPN crowd is saying we are a horrible fan base with a "mob mentality", they will spin this to show how out of control the fans are.

Also, dude looks to be drunk as piss, and reared back on the cop while being led away. Cop took him down and then they put cuffs on him. He was probably just going to be escorted out prior to that, and maybe given a citation for Public Intoxication. He escalated the situation.

Currie, 100% needs to be fired for being inept and more than likely a puppet of the booster overlord Haslam. But acting like a fool is exactly what everyone outside of Tennessee wants to see so they can be justified in their opinion that we are an irrational, uneducated and destructive fan base. We should keep up the pressure on the administration, using social media and the like to get the point across. But it needs to be civil, and reasoned. Actually stating the grievances we have as fans. That we were lied to, that our administration has made this mess, not the fans. Otherwise if we all act like angry idiots no one will have sympathy for us, and the rest of the country will only feel we got what we deserved when they roll out a "Google Me" coach. If they have sympathy for us fans, the narrative will change to how incompetent the administration is and real change will have to occur for the university to save face.

If the cops were recruits from this years defense, the guy wouldve got loose, ran 4 laps around the arena, passing right by the cops who would reach out to play tag on him.

Well stated!!! :clapping:

They did turn the music up or have the band start playing a few times to drown out the fire Currie chants

Anyone still wanna defend the drunk idiot? Hope he enjoys the night in the slammer.

I am sure there were people there when this happened. It’ll be interesting to hear their story. Not surprised by the charges. That may or may not be the story. It’s really early to know what all transpired.

In other words, he had a couple of Natural Lights before the game, was having a good time and not bothering anybody, started chanting Fire Currie with the rest of the crowd, the douchbag campus cops wanted to make an example out of him, pulled him out of the crowd, and when he tried to stop and ask them to explain why he was being kicked out, three cowards slammed him on the ground. That's exactly how I bet it happened. I graduated from UT. I know how they operate. God I wish the kid had been black due to the added scrutiny. Currie would be gone tomorrow.

If they made that announcement that's very telling of how sensitive they are to having their egos bashed by everyone who follows sports in America. Do the right thing, listen to the fans, if we are wrong, then its our own fault.
