What happens if we fall behind quick?

That is the most likely thing to happen. Wish the reporter would ask but coach didn't you recruit the back-ups and sign them to a scholarship ?
They are not as bad as he says. JTS looked every bit as good as JG did week 1 and 2. And BM wasn’t given a chance to put an egg on his face for a reason. I think he’s afraid to lose HBs commitment if BM touches the field tbh.

I'd like to think Chaney has some plays up his sleeve to help JG out. I'd like a naked boot leg off the stretch hand-off. When Kiffin was coach we'd run this play and have the play action side TE run a crossing route to the flat. If someone takes the QB he dumps it off.

JG will need 1-2 reads tops. Hit the first or swing it out or to DWA. It’d be nothing but 3 step drops all day. Get the playmakers the ball in space.

Would be worst case scenario.

Get down early, what little air there is in our balloon seeps out, we lay down, and the floodgates open.

Pray for some early success and good fortune.

Unfortunately, UT has done that on multiple occasions against Florida. As soon as a little adversity comes their way, they roll over and play dead.

This has been 1 of his issues since day one. Holding on to the ball too long and making the throw late.

Regardless of how it happens, what adjustments at QB will be made if we fall behind quick to UF, say 10-0 or 14-0. Will JG be replaced, or will the coaches stick with the guy since it’s Florida and not Chattanooga? If they do decide to go with a different QB in such a situation, do you think it would be Shrout or Mauer?
We score a bunch of points in a hurry off of turnovers.

Florida has NO run game......Tennessee gave up 150+ to UTC (but at lest it helps Tennessee that Florida isn’t good). Florida does not have a good passing D.

I’m prob being too much of a homer, but I don’t see how this could get out of hand......especially early (unless Tennessee makes some turnovers and FL scores easy and early from them).

Much nashing of the teeth would ensue

What happens if we jump ahead 14-0, I wonder if he'll keep JG in or let one of the backups come in?

Well boys,

The first thing we do is wet our pants....
Then.....then we start crying like little girls....
Then.....we jump on twitter and sign up for the Transfer Portal...
Then......we all transfer to Carson Newman where they stopped playing football bout 10 years ago....

150 of those yds came against 2nd and 3rd team. Not defending the D in any way. Fla might find their running game Sat

Disaster. Fla leads the country in sacks. JG gonna maybe last 2-3 qtrs before he is close to death. Maurer will then enter the game and look like Peterman.

We basically lost to Ga State by 15 points....I could see it getting out of hand fairly easily.

No one can erase that. However I think some are just focusing on a bad Tennessee. Now Florida isn’t bad, but I haven’t seen anything yet that says they are anything special.

Hey if they beat Tennessee by 28 come back and rub it in my face......I’ll have to take it. However I don’t see Florida beating any power 5 school by a lot, even Tennessee.
