What happens if we don't win a conference road game?

A lot IMO the selection comittee wants to see teams who prove they can win away from home and 15 of UT's 19 wins are at home

well a lot of sec teams (besides florida) have had trouble winning on the road...hoepfulyl the committe looks at the fact that we didnt' have chris lofton for some of those road games and the fact that we were leading at the half at most of the road games....

I'd like to know why it is that we can't fire on at least a few cylinders out of conference. Sure, the whole home site advantage and all, but jeez. We were firing on NO cylinders during the SC game. I'd rarely seen a team so out of sorts.

If we beat Florida at home and go at least 8-8 in the conference, I think we make it to the NCAA. But if we have a losing conference record and no road wins it could be pretty iffy.

Alabama is having the same troubles this year.. They havn't done too hot on the road either.. Gottfried better get his team clicking on all cylinders. Their tourney hopes are hanging by a thread.

I am well aware of that, however the question was about UT.

At this point, I don't think there is a lot of difference between one road win and none. Although a victory at Arkansas would be a boost, the best win we can have from this point forward is Florida at home.

We are 7-6 in SEC. Even if we lose to Florida and Arkansas, as long as we beat Georgia we will have our road win and a good seed in the tourney. I think we will probably beat Arkansas though. Chris Lofton will be pissed about last night and he will light it up. Just wait and see.
