What happened with the coaches after the game? (Nothing that had anything to do with CWH showing disrespect)

If the ETSU coach doesn’t want to get embarrassed then don’t schedule these games. I’m sure we can find other schools that would like a $600k paycheck.

ETSU players also get paid. I used to kinda feel bad for these teams when college football was an amateur sport. Not anymore.

To clear things up, nothing happened between the coaches at the end. As they were approaching each other to shake hands, the ETSU coach suddenly bolted past Heupel to go grab one of his players who was having some sort of altercation with several UT players. Heupel followed after him to make sure nothing else happened. Once the players were separated, the coaches then came back together to exchange hand shakes and pats on the back that appeared to be very cordial to me. I watched the whole sequence through binoculars from my seats in Y6.

College Football should have a week early to start and have the games not-count and allow games to be scheduled against FCS teams for these Exhibitions. It is a win-win. You don't have these FCS games in prime time but have them as a practice and these teams get paid. Basically, College's version of NFL preseason.

Good to hear. I take back anything negative I said about Healy.

Will Healey is trash. To take umbrage over getting your ass handed to you by an opponents fourth stringers and walk-ons and self righteously pouting is low character. Take your loss and your paycheck like a man and stop showing your ass, and imparting loser mentality i to your players by your poor example! Will Healey will never be anything.
Did he steal your girlfriend or something?

“ETSU made the trip east to Knoxville,…” thats enough of that. Cant lose credibility in your first sentence. They got this thing call google maps…

Come on chuckster they took the scenic route around the entire planet, crossed the Atlantic and the pacific and stopped in Utah for a refuel before landing eastbound into God’s country.

This is 2025, how dare you post facts and ruin all the satisfying vitriol spewing forth from the great unwashed.

Thanks for posting. Post-Game comments didn't sound bad from ETSU coach so this thread seemed odd.

Well, if there was nothing between he and Heupel and it was just some idiot players after the game, then no foul.

Heupel is good for playing backups the entire 2nd half and those players do need reps running the normal offense.
Having said that, 72 points seems a bit much. Saban never ran the score up on these lesser opponents. He found a way to play the backups and not humiliate the opponent.
