Carmichael from Greenville? I know he had grade issues and went Juco but haven't heard anything about him. Thought he was a Vol?

It's common for high school students who can't initially qualify to go to a small college, sometimes referred to as a community college or Junior college. These "JUCO" schools allow them to work on their grade point average, therefore increasing their ability to be accepted to D1 schools.

So in conclusion I think he went to JUCO b/c of grades.
