He had a terrible game, he averaged 1.9 yds/carry.

Code:
Rushing No Gain Loss Net TD Lg Avg
-------------------------------------------------
M. Hardesty 7 42 7 35 0 26 5.0
Arian Foster 16 46 15 31 0 13 1.9

Wisconsin was loading it up to stop the run, and were good at doing it. There was no where for him to go on the plays we ran on. Playing in the Big-10, stopping the run should be something that Wisconsin is good at .

Not to mention a couple of screens he caught and made something happen on.

AF deserves no flack at all today.

They were selling out to stop foster. I can't figure out why they run him wide all the time. He isn't that type of back.

as long as we get the yards and scores, I could care less where they come from. AF did well enough with what he was given.

Announcers even said that Badgers knew he had butter fingers and would be going after him....

They aparently bit on the rumor myth that everyone here hold so dear. 4 fumbles, one lost this season. That's NOTHING.

That would make it true. :)

It's not that he's fumble prone, he's just fumble prone at inopportune times.

And then there's that whole we stopped running the ball in the second half thing.

Unless I missed somthing, the few runs for more than 2-3yds were wide. I kept wanting them to go wide more.
The biggest problem our RBs had is they can't run & block too, someone has to do that, and they didn't show up again. When you're getting hit before you can get going and holes don't open, what can you do?

Botton line, Wisconsin won the line of scrimmage. Exactly what holes did you expect Foster to run though? Of course they also put 8 guys in the box a lot of times and that certainly helped them plug the running lanes too.

he has always been slow but today he looked S L O W.

First, I appreciate everything Foster has done at UT but I have never seen a runningback as slow as him in college football. There were a couple of plays where I was screaming run, run at the TV. His legs just won't go any faster. In the second half, there was a run where I told my son that if anyone else on the team had been in, they would have ran down the field. He just isn't very fast and it showed badly on a couple of runs today. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he left for the NFL. I really don't see anyone taking him though.
