Nah, I think the defense has looked really amazing at times during the season and picked up the slack for the offense in a few games, (I think at one point we were all concerned Golesh and Banks would get poached) last night was just bizarre

It made no sense. Last night went WAY beyond Banks coaching. Anyone could see it

I question the culture of a team if you have JB as your leader on defense based on what I have seen on YT.

Seems like we had a return game until we played Georgia, lately it's been just let the kick go. So we've ended up with worse field position to hand the offense. Didn't help the offense, and didn't help the defense when the offense had to punt, giving the opponents better field position.

Haven't checked the stats, just my impression.

Did you read what I quoted ? Basically someone saying the only reason Banks got the job was because of his skin color. I think that is BS and should be pointed out.

In 2 years ago we have gone from 3 - 7 to 7 - 6, hopefully to a 11-2 season. Find anywhere in UT history where a program has turned around this quickly. Let's not take Vanderbilt lightly, they are very capable of giving us everything we can handle. Hopefully SC game was a wake up call.

Appreciate your point. I am still grateful for this season, which has still been incredible.
I think the team had an emotional meltdown as a result of the apparent locker room conflict this week.

FWIW, Doug Dickey turned the program around in similar fashion in the mid-60's.
