What good did it do to have a tough schedule?

If NC is the #1 seed in the tourney then it would appear we are #8. What a crock. Tough bracket for sure.

KU played a pretty tough schedule also...Oh, and they did nothing but play incredibly at the end of the season.

They gave us the East Region so that our fans could easily travel to the game. People on here need to quite whining so much about every little thing.

Have you guys seen who the 10 members on the comittee are. Three or four of them are ad's at top universitys and the SEC comissioner as well as a few other comissioners and ad's. How did we have the # 1 RPI, #1 SOS, signature wins like Memphis on the road and at least not get a favorable 2 seed. Look at the 2 or 3 games we have to win to get to NC. South Alabama in Birmingham, what a joke. Then, Louisville. I don't see how we can almost get a #1 seed then go all the way to the last 2 seed. That's what happens when you don't play defense in your conference tourney.

We could have just as easily been in the South region and they could have made B'Ham the part of it with Little Rock (Memphis).

I fully understand the pods. I am talking about the second weekend, in Charlotte. Much better for traveling UT fans than Houston, Detroit, or Phoenix.

No wins over the top 25 until today. That doesn't compare with our schedule. The committee decided to put more stock in one game in the conference tournament than the body of work of the entire season.

UCLA, should be bumped to a 2 just because they don't have to play in one.

Committee won't match us up in Memphis bracket, sending TN to West/Mid-West (opening games in San Diego / Anahiem) they prolly considered too far for TN, so they put us in the most logcal, region-wise

What?!?!

Call me crazy, but I seem to remember UCLA beating Stanford yesterday to win the PAC-10 Tournament...

I seem to remember UCLA getting 2 gift wrapped games this season.
And, I seem to remember UT losing to Arkansas, Vandy, Kentucky, and Texas...How does that change the fact that the PAC-10 does indeed have a post-season tournament?

Are they sure UCLA isn't the #1 overall? That has to be the easiest bracket. And their #2-6 or 7 seeds are all from the east. What a crock.

I know, if we could've had a couple of favorable calls in the final seconds of two of those games, we'd be in good shape. I didn't say anything about UCLA having a tournament. You're confused.
