Crompton managed that game to all of 19 minutes of total offensive possession. It amazes me that fans use that game as a sign of his potential. I don't see any "potential". He is what you've seen in every game he has played. I admire his persistence. But I don't find him to be very good nor do I expect he will be this season.Alabama will not be a bloodbath. The only team that has a chance of beating us by more than 14 points is Florida and if Crompton can manage the game like he did LSU when Ainge went down i think it will be closer than most think. I think we can go 12-0 laugh if you want but i just do. It will take some big plays against florida and ole miss but its very possible. I think at worst we finish 9-3 and we beat UCLA by 17.
I want revenge on UCLA. My dad stayed with me that Labor Day weekend last year. The week before the UCLA game he lost his job and then on top of that we had to watch an embarrassing loss to a team we were supposed to beat. The level of disgust I had after that game was powerful. I hope we crush them beyond recovery.
Revenge is better served cold. Hope you have a good time in Knoxville and walk back to your room with tears in your eyes.I don't think the UCLA game was considered an important one at all by UT fans last year and that was understandable. How can you get fired up for a game you think you are going to win by 40 points?
So, is the fact that many UT fans in this thread are really looking forward to the UCLA game due to the revenge factor or to a perception that UCLA will be better or a combination of both?
Isn't the current point spread for the game 3 points?
I am really looking forward to it because I will be in Knoxville wearing the blue and gold.
GO BRUINS!!!
