Question is how long will he have to wait.

He is just repeating what a few sports news outlets have already said. If Auburn doesn't hire Freeze then those reporting are going to get louder.

He said "......many believe....". He didn't say he believed. I think you could find a few dozen of the Vol faithful that would sign up for any scenario that was proposed.

I don't always like what he says but I've never heard him lie.

I do like the way he keeps laying into the Big 10 commissioner and how he mishandled the COVID situation.

If I knew it would lead to Freeze being hired with him walking into the introductory press conference to a cover version of They Call Me The Breeze except its called They Called Me The Freeze while he is wearing a leather vest with Angel wings on the back, I would drop 500 bucks on the go fund me page to hire him.

I believe Freeze would be the most capable coach at UT since Fulmer, and even an upgrade from Fulmer in terms of understanding the modern game. Sure he has baggage but who cares. People want a winner and as long as he’s not repeating past poor choices, he would be welcomed by the vast majority.

He said later on that his money is on Tennessee retaining Pruitt at the end of the season because "Fulmer believes in the people that works for him"
