no. everyone just gave him the benifit of the doubt bc of a youtube video where he seemed to have a funny personality etc etc...

he was dumped by the jets and now we dumped him. somthin had to be up

I think recruiting is more about personality, trustworthiness, and lastly experience. You can still do well without experience but over time you can become even better.

Since Smith has been trying to get into coaching for awhile now, and it took an old HS teammate to land the head coaching job at his alma mater for him to get a shot. Then he got himself fired after just one year, I think it's safe to say he's not the best option for us.

Not defending CS but i have yet to get proof of him being fired,or a reason for him leaving on his own,for that matter.

Any links to the truth?

Multiple people far closer to the program than me have stated the same story. Whether or not you choose to believe them is not up to me, but it's probably as much as we will ever know.
