You have repeatedly acted as if UT fans were expecting too much. Own it. You would be "fun" if you were more like some of the other Gator fans here. They're proud and antagonistic. You're just patronizing.

No, I haven’t.

I have said the hole is bigger to dig out of and requires patience, but not that poor performance should be tolerated.

I have never argued that the standard for Tennessee football should be anything other than winning championships.

But, this year is a good example of the need for patience.

Most believe it’s a great year and it will end with a 7-5 record. Not where anyone would want to be, but under the circumstances would be a great year.

Don't walk it back now. I know this has been a humbling year for you after riding in on high expectations. I know it is a tough pill to swallow going from thinking you had the best coach not named Saban to calling for his head.

But yes... you have consistently been condescending since we first met on Knoxville Sentinel's comment board. You think UF fans deserve a championship program. You have made it pretty clear on numerous occasions that you don't think it is realistic for UT fans to expect that same level.

That’s a load. And there are many comments in many threads that contradict that.

Heck, I even said championships are a reasonable goal at South Carolina even though it’s never happened
