What does BAMA's near loss mean for our guys? Is there hope this time around?

No doubt, we did not see the BAMA of old on Saturday. Does this mean we actually have some hope of beating them? Are we better than that other "UT" in the Southwest?

Bama had an off day. We have a punchers chance though.

Just the depth and talent they have are hard to overcome even with a couple of breaks. Same thing with Georgia although I think they are a better team. We don’t have much chance but I would say we have the best chance of beating them of anyone on their schedule.

Here is Bama's offensive line. But, they still have a better overall team than us. We are gaining ground, and Nick is extremely old.

The transitive property doesn't apply to college football. With that said, we have as good a chance to beat them this year as we've had since Dobbs was QB.

We have nowhere near the talent that Texas does in the trenches. That's the difference. Dod you see the monsters they had on the O and D LOS? We Are still 2 years away from seriously competing.
Maybe Bama was over-confident or Texas might have played the best game they will play this year. We have no idea how good Texas will be. Just have to wait and see as the season progresses.🤷‍♂️

I'm afraid it means Bama will wake up and fix its mistakes. This is exactly what Saban needs to get his team going.
They pull a stunt like this every year, sometimes a couple games a year. Last year was UF & aTm. This year Texas and ??

Hopefully we can be that team that gives them more than they can handle this year.

If we can manage one of our 28pt 1st qtrs and then just keep it rolling, we can win. I think we'll need to score 40+.

Sark was simply running a designed defense to slow down an offensive scheme he taught and coached during through the 2020 season, probably still had copies of the offensive and defensive play books in his office, meeting notes from post game reviews of Alabamas seasons he was in Tuscaloosa, if anybody had inside angles on the Saban machine, Sark would be the most recent

They may get much better now that their "we are #1" bubble has been burst. Regardless, the real UT (Tenn) needs to continue to focus on playing fundamentally sound ball and getting better. It's only 2 games into year number 2 of a pretty significant rebuild of the program from where it has been. It's a really good sign that we are even discussing whether we can hang with Bama.

They've been Georgia-ed, so they will more motivated to assert their claim of being #1. I pity their upcoming opponents. Just the same, they might enter our game as overconfident and choke on orange peels.

Aren’t they having to start a freshman on the offensive line?

Bama probably played their worst game of the season while Texas probably played their best game of the season and Bama still won. Bama will probably play their best game of the season against us.
