What do you want the first play from our offense to be Saturday?

Option A:
RPO with a pass to Tyler Byrd who goes for a solid 15, moving those chains and leaving the WVU defense scrathing their head and questioning their entire game plan.
Followed by a run right behind big Trey Smith, esatblish the run and keep them off balance. Chew up the clock and control the game tempo.

Option B:
Big pass by Grier right into the loving arms of Nigel Warrior who takes it to the house. Kills Grier's confidence and sets the tone for our new and improved no nonsense secondary under CJP!!

I would prefer option B
#DEFENSESWINCHAMPIONSHIPS

Taylor kills Grier while leading the INT return for a TD

Running play to whatever side Danna is on and roll that idiot up to where his hair will never be the same.

Two back set, bump and run by Eli Wolf. Throw over the middle for 37 yards.

I'd love to see the first Vols offensive drive be 70% run plays (including the very first play), 30% pass, with no tricks, just hard-nosed football. And I'd love to see the drive take 6 or 7 minutes off the clock.

Would be a harbinger of a long, painful evening for the Mountaineers.

Execute the play with poise and precision without penalty, timeout, nor turnover, and for a positive gain.

GBO!

In all seriousness...nothing is as demoralizing as anticipating the other team running on you, and not being able to stop it. Anyone else remember that second half against Nebraska in the '98 Orange Bowl? That's the type of game I would love to see us have. We're running at you, and you can't stop it.

Of course, we don't have that type of offense...so that isn't going to happen...but it would be fun to see the frustration.
