On a serious note….. gonna remain cautiously optimistic, as one always should with an EA product, but I have to say I’m impressed. It really looks like they’re going to fix a lot of the problems with the first game. Just give me some gameplay tweaks (mainly hope they fix the damn blocking, that was my least favorite part of 25) along with these additions and I’ll be happy.

(not gonna be all “they cooked bro” like everybody in the replies though. The day I say something like that about an EA game is the day I hope somebody puts me out of my misery lol)

I held off on getting 26 and finally broke down to play with some friends. It’s just awful. Every update makes it worse. It’s not going to get any better until they just make all teams even, do away with hot routes, gimmick blitzes, etc

I disagree, I think hot routes and gimmick blitzes make it more fun and challenging. JMHO, sorry you didn't enjoy it

Leave it to EA to mess up their own update. Update is out, but no new players added after the update lol only the logo backplates. Servers are back down for maintenance again as they are probably trying to fix their own update.

I want the portal stuff fixed . Braylon Staley led my team in receptions, yards and tds, freshman AA, 1st team SEC, SEC champion, NCAA champion and was unhappy with my playing style all season and transferred. I had to tailor my entire offense around him and Sanders and they both still transferred.

Dang. There's a way to turn off the transfer portal for you, but I'm assuming you don't wanna do that? What's weird is how often Arch Manning transfers out after 2025-2026

Merklinger transferred to UGA in year 2 of my dynasty. He threw for 43 TDs and 2 interceptions and came in 2nd in the Heisman behind Mateer from Oklahoma, now coached by Lane Kiffin. My Tennessee Vols beat UGA 28-24 in the national championship game as Merk threw a pick on the last drive to close out the game. Basically beat everyone by at least 3 scores all season and the title game was a nail biter .

People on twitter getting anxious for CFB 27 news. Some of the stuff from guys that get info seems way over the top for what they want. This whole immersive RTG world where you walk around campus is not what really moves the needle for me. I guess I’m no longer the target demographic, but I just want the most authentic gameplay possible, the ability to enhance the Gameday experience/ environment would be a plus. Meaning you get to choose which game to Checker Neyland or have a blackout or whiteout game. I know I’m in the minority for this, but I love playing exhibition games during the season and play the majority of dynasty after the season to fill the void. I would like the option to control the temperature, time of the year, etc. in exhibition games. I’m pretty sure that is not high on anyone’s wish list, but it’s something that’s been available all the way back to PS2.

I just can’t care about the immersive RTG also probably a sign they are gonna focus more heavily on micro transactions like 2K.

Im interested to see what the “big news” from the makers of the upcoming “Varsity” football game is. I know they talked about releasing a 7 on 7 version before the launch of the full game. Kinda hope they don’t. Would rather the just focus on making the full game as best they can. Maybe I’m being negative though.
