What Do You Want For CFB26?

The ability to watch games. Nerdy but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put the NC game on (while in dynasty) as background noise while working on the honey do list. I also hate how uninvolved you are in the season if it isn’t directly tied to your school.

The ability to create recruits.

Smarter AI or whatever that prevents Sun Belt teams from being in the top 5 just because they haven’t lost. Take SOS into account. Idk why but every dynasty I’ve done, the Charlotte 49ers have become a powerhouse despite being like an 82 overall.


More active transfer portal. Once you become a good coach with A+ integrity, no one wants to leave your program and virtually every kid in the portal from other schools has zero interest in your school. Also, the ability to see the rating of kids in the portal.

Something kind of small and cosmetic , but the light show after a touchdown at night would be pretty cool. I know nothing about how a video game is built or constructed so I don’t know how difficult it would be to make this possible.

1) Formation Subs
2) Better logic for seasonal awards (All American, Heisman, etc)
3) Dynamic deal breakers
4) Stadium editor/Upgrades (mainly for small programs that you turn into bigger ones should have a path to upgrade stadium or build newer, bigger one).

I think I’m one of the few who really doesn’t care that much about RTG. I just want the actual game play to be as customizable and lifelike as possible, at least from an environment perspective. I heard Metallica is involved this year, which is cool for VT, but that stuff wears off quick IMO. I don’t need or want an Gameday kind of thing bc after the first 3 or 4 times you skip through it anyway. I also think competitively there needs to be a sweet spot between All American and Heisman.

I did in the old versions but not this one. I didn’t even finish a full season of RTG on CFB 25. Not sure if high school will change that for me. I’m more waiting on Varsity to release If it ever does for a high school football game experience. I did find a happy place with sliders though, but I agree, the base settings between All American and Heisman weren’t done very well. You would hope there’s a big jump between 25 and 26 since 25 was the first iteration in years, but I’m not preordering just yet.

Good, really was no excuse for it to not be in last years game but glad it’s being implemented. Another thing that I’d add that’s important to me but idk if it really should be, I wish the Checker Neyland, etc. type games didn’t happen so often in dynasty. In dynasty it’s like every single conference gone game is checkered for me.

Exactly. I think we’ve talked about this on here, but it bugs me. Every single conference game has been Checker Neyland for me this season of my dynasty. I’d love the to have the option of Checker Neyland, Normal, Maybe Blackout or White out. I’m weird when it comes to the game bc I don’t play Dynasty during the actual college football season. I play exhibition games and online and then I play dynasty after the season to fill the void . That’s the part of the reason I like to have the most realistic options available during exhibition games
