we certainly aren't gonna go out there and run over any of these. But who was Bama's closest game last year? Us. Not a prediction. Just an observation.

And, Georgia doesn't impress me, but they seem like they could be one of those vanilla offenses with some big plays and the ability to run the ball that does well. Ew. Ew. Defense is still suspect, IMO.

Incredible! So many so-called fans are so ready to discount this team! Everyone knows they're unproven; please quit stating the obvious. Physically though, there are very few teams we don't match up with. A monster o-line, solid linebackers, strong-armed quarterbacks, hard-nosed backs, and gifted wideouts. I cast one vote in the hugely optimistic "let's see" column.

Out of the Athlon preseason top 25, how many of these teams do you think is actually better than the Vols. A bunch of these teams have lost leaders and weapons to this years draft.

No more than half of them. Why in the wide world of sports would Southern Cal be #3. They are going to struggle to be #3 in their own conference. These polls are done by writers, nerd, jerks, who in the most cases haven't even played croquet in there whole life.

If Georgia can turn the D around with Todd Grantham as the DC, then yes Georgia will be a 9-3 team this year.

They have some tough games against Arkansas, Auburn, SC, Florida & GA Tech.
