Clemson will be annoyingly good. Parker's back, Ellington and J. Harper will be good good running backs.

IMO this poll is a joke... I just can't wait for the season to start so we can put aside this speculating. it's only fun for like 8 months haha... now it's time for football.

to answer the question, I think we could beat Oregon, Miami, Wisconsin, Arkansas, North Carolina, Mizzou, Connecticut, and Penn State on a good day. But for every one of them we would have to have a good day...

That being said, I think we end up 7-5 with an average bowl and not ranked in the top 25.

We get our shot to prove it versus Oregon early on. I can't wait.

That weekend... oregon/tennessee. miami/ohio state. penn state/bama. uga/uscJR. florida state/oklahoma. notre dame/michigan.

Exactly haha. That's just a crazy slate of games.

Clemson also has one of the best safeties if not the best safety in the nation.

Hate to say it, but the only teams I think we could hang with are UCONN and LSU. The only reason for LSU is their coach.

We'll 'hang with' oregon, florida and could with others. Not necessarily line up and take it to 'em, but hang with.

I doubt we hang with Florida, their D-Line is just too strong. The only reason we'll hang with Oregon is because of how far they have to travel.


Hope I'm wrong though... :crossfingers:

Keep Lamichael James from getting outside. Simple as that. Make the quarterback in all of that beat us. Easier said than done.

I'm not saying there is no chance we get our butts whipped by Florida.. but we'll see.

Till I see the product on the field, I'd say none of the above. Tennessee hasn't been ranked in forever and doesn't deserve to be till it does something to prove otherwise.

If the games are played at a neutral site...I'd say 23. LSU because of their coach and UConn because we probably are a more athletic team than them, even though Edsal is a good coach. That's about it.

I think all teams on that list are better than us on paper. However, we will not lose to all the teams we have to play on that list, we won't go 0-5 against them.
