What do you think avout Uros?

I’ve always heard people to say not to bring the ball down, but going up without bringing ti down is just so unnatural and uncomfortable to me. It’s like take a shot without dipping the ball. Just throws off the whole motion. You can bring the ball down as long as you bring it back up strong and hard IMO.

A lot of opportunities for a “Twss” there lol
Average height guys ok. In almost every sport one has to resist follow their instinctual movements. Tall guys have to train themselves to not bring the ball down if they wish to be the most effective

No, unfortunately he's not better than I think. He's a guy who struggles greatly on a team without a post presence, he gets boosted minutes due to the lack of any suitable players there. He's 7'0 tall and doesn't rank in the top 50 in the SEC in rebounds. He doesn't rank in the top 75 in blocked shots. He doesn't rank in the top 90 in points. He has trouble with quite a few fundamental aspects of basketball in general still and he's been playing and practicing for several years at the college level.

Our post struggles are well noted this season and Uros getting so many minutes is a reflection of that. I wouldn't feel safe betting on a given night that he makes more positive plays than negative plays. Though he will occasionally have a game that is good by his standards, like he did vs LSU, he's as likely as not to go out and screw up so bad Barnes benches him for most of the night like he did against Florida the next game.
🙄🙄 geez. The LSU game shows me there’s more to Uros game then you’re giving him credit. If he can continue to develop he can certainly be a 10 pt 10 Rb kinda guy. Have faith in the Serbian!!

If Uros can average 10/10 I'll try my best to get a VN signing event NIL deal organized for him.

I think he is the best rebounder on the team. 8 in 17 min vs Sc......Fulkerson 2 in 22 min

I think this is the part of his game that has improved the most. If I remember correctly, he was a terrible rebounder before this year.

He certainly has the potential to be there one day. Will he ? I sure hope so. He plays with a lot of intensity and passion. If he plays like he did against lsu at home he can do it.
He’s definitely closer to getting 10 pt n 10 rb then you would be organizing a nil deal for the guy 😂

We've had three 10 rebound a game players since Bernard King did it in back to back to back seasons. All three were about 10000 times better at basketball than Uros. Reggie Johnson, 2 time first team All-America, member of the Vols All-Century team and arguably the best big to ever play here, never averaged 10+ boards a game.

Uros is not a top 50 rebounder in the SEC this year. He's not going to become a 10/10 guy barring several miracles. After watching tonight, he should lose minutes to Aidoo the rest of the way.

Uros has developed a bit of a "mean" streak this season. Bodes well for the future.

International players can not make money off the name, image, and likeness, (NIL).

They can make N-I-L money for charity.

Dumb rule BTW. Very TN to have had 3 international players in TN’s first 7 or 8 with 2 starters. UNC, Duke, and Kansas must have domestic rosters and don’t like Gonzaga coming uninvited to the party.
