Look Jon, you have all the skills and abilities to lead this talented team to victory against Florida. Just do what you have been trained to do. Search for the open receiver and don't be blinded by the pressure. When you see an open receiver, don't freak and abandon good technique and throw a bad ball. Purpose to throw a good ball on the numbers...now, go kick some Gator.:clapping:

How about "You're the starting QB at UT playing UF on nationally televised game, this is what you've worked long and hard for, go have some fun kid" "Oh and try not to do anything stupid while you're out there"

This is what all those years of hard work and preparation were leading up to. Go out there and do your best and have fun.

Don't throw the short ones long or the long ones short. Manage the game. Do your pre-reads then deliver the ball to your primary or secondary or else throw it away.

The main thing isn't what they tell him but what they do for him. They need to run more patterns that flood or vacate areas for him to throw to.

Some of what they worked on in the UAB game will help. Run a combo of misdirection runs coupled with roll outs in the opposite direction. Freeze the DL and make the LB's work through traffic.
