Waking up on Sat. morning and hearing gameday debate that we were the best one loss team in the country. I loved it and really miss that! What do you miss about last year?

I miss these things:

Winning SEC Titles

Having every weekday have a bigger energy than the last - Friday is a tension-filled, anxious day for me - I can't work

My absolute favorite season is fall, though it seems like it doesn't last long enough. I love it because of college football. I wished I lived closer to Knoxville, it's alot more fun watching the games with fans if I cant attend the games which I never do. I miss Saturday's in the fall.

I miss the voice.............

It's not that I dislike Bob Kesling, and I don't have anything against him, but my god how do you go from John Ward to that guy. Kesling is a scrub compared to Ward. It's a shame too because Kesling is going to be the announcer for the next 30 years or so.

What I really miss is John Ward's "Its football time in Tennessee!" broadcast.

#1 on the link above... A little story on that. A new neighbor moved in across the street several years ago and I went over to meet him as he was working in the yard. Turned out he was from Buffalo, NY and played football up there at a small college. We started talking football and I told him about John Ward beginning each radio broadcast with "It's football time in Tennessee" as the team was running through the T and it always gave me goosebumps when I heard it. This was in June and when I told him that he looked at me and said "you've got goosebumps right now". Sure enough I had goosebumps just thinking about it...

I am going to try and take his job :p But in all reality, no one is going to be as good as Ward. He was the best, you turned the TV volume down and turned the radio up when UT played on TV
