Some of you are High.

GA will break the top 25 before this season is over.

We have played 3 top 15 ranked teams. Added GA and Cincy --- 5 of our 8 games have been against top 25 ranked teams.....

This is the SEC and some of you need to be reminded.....It is the power conference.....We will never be a Vandy, Ole Miss, KY, or a flash in the pan.....We have too much money and facilities not to be successful.

Add Arkansas 6 of 10 games with teams ranked in the top 25.

Quit complaining. I hope they keep every doubter and every idiotic post for years to come. When this thing turns around some of you will be better finding another board to post on.

Enjoy stirring Crap while you still can because the day is coming where it is going to fly right back into you face......

Don't know if this team is going to turn it around or not.....because of injuries, youth and a lack of depth....but there is always that possibility.

I want to believe Dooley can fix this, but it's just hard to find anything the tells me he will.

I remember Tn teams that were big and physical and this team looks like a high school team.I want to see DD make it here but to be honest I think hes in trouble. have never seen a Tn football team look this bad in my life.Im sick of hearing about youth and depth.Tn isnt the only school that has this problem.

You can say all you want about where this team was ranked, but they do not have Lattimore, have changed QB's, and their stars on the D line as well as Jeffrey did NOTHING tonight. This is not even close to the 14th best team in America, and they came in and controlled us on our home field. So, to answer your question, here's what I expected: I expect to win a game at home where we give up only 14 points, I expect to score a single freaking touchdown at some point, I expect our offensive coordinator to show that he knows something about play calling (which he most certainly did not tonight- absolutely horrible play calling period), and I expect our team to be able to stop simple running plays when they are run over and over and over again. For the record, I do agree with you that things are turning around, I love Dooley, I love how we are recruiting, but the fact is we were beaten a lot more by ourselves (and our playcalling) tonight than we were by being overmatched.

How about this Dooley dose not give us a chance to win the guy builds us up for a loss every week.If you do not believe you will win you never will.I have supported Dooley till this point but he is not a leader.
If he does not lead us to 8 wins next year his job is DONE,we will have depth and it will be time to find a NEW HC.

i expect tennessee to be the the program they should be, nationally ranked EVERY year and competing for the sec championship. check the history of college football and we can hold our own. in a down year in the east it should have been a cakewalk to atlanta. we deserve better.

But I was about to start a similar thread on why everybody was so confident.

You start a true freshman against the 3rd best defense in the SEC, I remember Peyton Manning getting beat by Miss.St in his first start as a freshman. This game could have been won but it's not like South Carolina doesn't have a hall of fame ball coach and a great defense. that's all you need sometimes

Have you seen teams like Vandy play? They compete, they play hard for their coach and he fights for them. I can handle losing, I can't handle not competing and having a coach who seems to put more prep into his weekly comedy routine than his gameplan. Compile a list of teams who have put more than 3 pts up vs USCjr, esp when spotted some great field position and a defense that gets you 3 turnovers. I see plenty of thin teams with no talent that are better prepared and that play harder. Watch enough college football and you'll see them. Doesn't Iowa Stae have more excuses than UT does? UT didn't play a great team tonight, they played a mediocre team missing their star player. This is unacceptbale.

You are preaching to a group that praises a team when they're doing well and dog cusses the very same team and especially the coaches when they're doing bad. Definitely a bunch of fairweathers who aren't good at thinking when they get angry.

I don't like coming out of halftime, kicking a dumbass onside kick, pissing away a drive, then getting beat 99 yards down the field for ten minutes.

These dummies expect freshmen Qb's to throw it deep on the first play of the game... I would be careful asking for their opinons.
