What Do You Do for a Living?

I am a musician in the US Navy. Currently stationed with the US Navy Band in Washington, DC. I emcee concerts for the concert band and am the vocal soloist as well. Also, I emcee ceremonies for military dignitries in the DC area. Additionally I act in the role of producer for the band, putting together shows for the general public as well as broadcasts to ships at sea. Definately an interesting job.

Thanks for what you do.:eek:k: Being an AF family we go to the Christmas concert held at DAR by the AF band. We've only missed once in 16 years.

You should check out out show too. We are always 2 weeks after the Air Force one. One show Saturday night and one Sunday afternoon.

Former Navy guy of 10 years, I'm now a controls technician for Johnson Controls in St. Louis, MO.

There is absolutely no way I'd ever go back to the service. Not a chance in the world. I'm absolutely loving every single day I go in to work.

Basically, I work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for large buildings, schools, and hospitals. I work with more of the technical side of the business.
