What do y'all think

As previously posted:
"Fear of lawsuits will be a factor. "
It is THE factor...
The 800 lb gorilla in everybody's room, no matter what the event. In another sport that I participate in, BOTH of our national championship events have been cancelled for 2020 out of a fear of LAWSUITS.
Americans are being ruled by the cadre of lawyers who are collectively drooling over the thought of mega-settlements they see coming, of which they will collect 40%.

How many coaches and support staff to you think fall into the "high risk" category?

Think Jim Chaney survives a bout with covid 19 at 58 with what are probably multiple comorbidities?
Chaney is probaly pushing around 360lbs too he wouldn’t fare well I’m afraid if he got it

A big concern is the long term effects from getting covid. I don’t know the true number but only 2-5% die from it and that’s mostly old, sickly or fat people and apparently 1 dog. We don’t know what will happen 5-10 years down the road for the rest of us that got it and didn’t know or for those that got it and didn’t die either.

I’m not that old or sickly, but I am fat.

And apparently weak minded for thinking there might be more risks to it than just dying.
There is supposedly an HIV component to this virus, which is smoking gun proof it's not natural. That said, anyone who has had it needs to monitor their T cell count.

Cancelled.. The hysteria and panic is just too much to overcome. One day everyone will crawl back out from under their beds and resume life. The sooner the better for all of us.
That will only happen after the people behind this whole agenda get what they want. Watch what happens with the World Economic Forum and their global summit in January.

I'm aware of that. I don't think their normal will be the normal you want. They need to be denied what they want. Globalist versus Nationalist is a very real thing. If anyone had doubts that the NWO exists , this year should remove all doubt.

Their normal is a borderless world. We are not ready for that by any stretch. It would be a mass migration to the 1st world that will collapse under the weight of it.

Those people are in Congress on both sides of the isle. We see the reckless spending all the time. It's definitely helping to bring it to its knees. The debt is the 800 pound gorilla in the room no one wants to talk about..

Will the season happen or will it be cancelled, what do y'all think?

My opinion hasn't changed since this all started. The conferences will weigh the lost revenue versus the potential liability and make the call that costs the least amount of money.

Unfortunately, I think the fall season is cancelled. Path of least resistance. It is always easier to not do something than to collectively work through a difficult problem. Personally, I think the P5 schools could afford to put all of the safety protocols in place to have a season but some schools/AD's don't want to do so therefore it will not occur. Sad.

Unfortunately I think it gets canceled even if it's not needed. However with that said they have to have a spring season beginning mid February wrapping up in mid May (Playoffs/Bowls) But then they will need to turn around and have a normal season beginning in early September. You have to do it this way or the system will crash with eligibility issues and recruiting. If there is no spring season then this years freshman call will be next years freshmen class thus screwing this years high school seniors for next year. Why would a school need two freshman classes. Then you'll have all the lawsuits for the others wanting a year of eligibility back. This is going to be one giant mess. Get your popcorn ready it's going to be quite a show. Maybe this will finally drop the hammer on the dictatorial NCAA once and for all.

If they have a spring season, it's not going to be 10-12 games, more likely 6-8 games. They aren't going to run the season right up to the NFL draft.

Cancelled. Go fishing, or take a drive without the extra traffic. Doing home repairs or landscaping without hearing the voice of Bob Kesling. Not having to explain to friends why I don't care or didn't watch. Quite sure I am in the minority, but I am good with it.

They can do a 10 game season. With everything happening the NFL will have to move the draft back to the end of May that's only a 30 day delay which they can and should do. This has to be done in order to not have college football implode. These smartest people in the room (college presidents) aren't very smart and have 0% common sense.

I caught the very tail end of a sports show on ESPN Saturday on the radio (I NEVER listen to that stuff but was traveling and surfing to find something on air) and the two national host (have zero clue who they were) said there were rumors that several of the Cardinals players were spotted at a casino and the Marlins had a party at some bar before all this broke out. It seems to me if you limit being ONLY around virus free people within your organization then contracting the virus would be quite difficult. They also mentioned when the sports league are in full swing(if that every happens) if a player or support personnel violates said guidelines by associating with people who are not subject to the team testing they can and will be fined heavily! IDK...if that's the case a stiff fine should definitely be in order.
