Is he capable of goin out there and trying to run the offense? I know he had some decent plays in the O&W game. I don't feel like we hear much about him in practice. What do the coaches think of him? Is Shrout an option? Definitely don't hear much about him.
Is starting one of these guys realistic or are we just stuck with JG?

With the defense as bad as it is, there's not a chance in hell I risk putting BM out there. This season is now over. There won't be a bowl game. The season is lost. Just play JG and pack it up for next year with a fresh QB

IIRC, the same questions were being asked about Dobbs before he became the starter.

we know that he needs a chance. This is one of the easiest opening 2 games we have had in a while and we are 0-2 with JG.

Maybe and I'm just speculating the coaches don't want a Nathan Peterman repeat. Everyone knows JG is dog dung but a true freshman on the road in the Swamp isn't ideal. May have to take our lumps though. If we see it the coaches do too. I'm ready for a QB change but if that's the reasoning I understand.

Not to say that BM is the answer, but if the season is over and next year we're starting with a fresh QB then now's the perfect time to bring him in. Get seasoning and see how he performs with one hell of a receiver group. Next year you have JG, Hill, BM, Shrout and hopefully Bailey (assuming everyone stays) you'd like to know as much as possible about all of those guys I would think

I would like to see J.T. get a shot at running the offense the next game. Maurer should keep his redshirt barring nothing drastic happens. We are rebuilding (for the 12th year) so we should look forward. The guys in the press conference I liked how they are looking to next week already ( would like to make a jab that they weren't looking to this week but the guys they had out there played) it shows that they see each time as a development opportunity. Ty's plea for the Fans to stand behind them was heartbreaking. He should know Tennessee alumni and fans stand behind them, not out of choice but obligation. Love Tennessee and every kid that chooses to come here.

He had a good OW game.

More mobile than JG.

BM can tuck it and run.

He has a good arm.

He throws his receivers open, a concept JG could never grasp.

He has FIRE to him.

Him or JT need to get an opportunity.

We know what JG is and it ain’t a winner.

You watching practices that nobody on VN can see?

The defense actually played a really good game before overtime the offense in the second half didn't help them

Scared to play him for fear of losing the awesome Highschool QB that will probably be looking around soon.
