Well the fact is Pruitt will take over a Butch Jones team that went 0-8 in the SEC this year. What would you expect of him. I really do believe this team will be alot better. It will take a couple years for Pruitt to get the type of players in here that he wants. And i do believe the O-line will be better since we will be going to the pro style offense.

Probably less than we expect from Pruitt because Pruit only has one T and is not our coach.

7-5 or 8-4. We have just as much talent as uf, vandy, UK, sc, wvu. Then throw in the cup cakes. No reason this team shouldn't win at least 7.

Less than 7 is bad coaching or major injuries

You know; run, block, tackle, throw & catch.

Those sorts of things.

It is not just about talent next season. The returning talent will still have to adjust to brand new offensive and defensive schemes. These won't be tweaks, but implementing brand new systems, and we don't yet how well any of the returning QBs will adjust to it, or how quickly. Not to mention we will undoubtedly have to hope that those JUCO OLs we are bringing in are quickly brought up to SEC-caliber.

And we absolutely were atrocious against the run last season, and not much better against the pass when teams actually threw the ball. We have deficiencies at every level on defense. Some if it was lack of development, to be sure, but some of it was a lack of talent and depth.

A 3-game improvement is a big turnaround in one season. It is possible we can do it, but saying if we don't means the coaches are bad is another example of the unrealistic expectations this fanbase puts on the program.

I want to see us look physical and fundamentally sound in 2018. That may not translate to 7+ wins next season, but it will set the foundation for the future.

Get to a bowl game at least. Tougher with West Virginia as an opener, but that should always be the floor.

Talent is there to go 7-5 or 8-4.

Doubt that happens and we start getting used to a new approach to excuses.

Last years team was a good coach away from being 8-4. If Pruitt is a good coach then we’ll hit 8-4 this year.

Even though Tennessee was passed up by plenty of candidates, Pruitt was sold. And in his opening comments as UT’s head coach, he gave a sales pitch of his own.

“I want to challenge everybody associated with the University of Tennessee,” Pruitt stated. “They didn’t draft me, I chose to be here. Where we want to go, instead of talking about what we want, let’s get there. It’s going to take everybody in this administration.”

His passion is strong and moving

For me it's hope before expectation. My hope, his transition from DC to HC is successful

I hope to see a team that's actually better in November than they were in September. Even if the record doesn't show it! Just steady noticeable improvement. I'd also like to see his recruiting prowess begin to take hold.

I want to see little Liar nickie saTan destroyed that he screams so loudly he can be heard all over K town,

Watch saTan so mad that he throws his headset all the way to the power T at midfield,

Watch saTan tear his alaBummer shirt off his body in shreads as he walks off the field,

Watch him scream at the reporters " I QUIT" as he storms out of Neyland.

Laugh as he vanishes from sight forever and leaves the alaBubba fans in a deep depression a team that never wins more than 5 games again.

Play some ball and STOMP them all!

9 Wins - Any Coach with Expectations Below 9 Wins should immediately be Fired- Tennessee Football Deserves High Expectations & should NEVER accept 6-6 as Acceptable- If 6 or 7 Wins is Acceptable then we should remove 60,000 seats because we have become Vanderbilt..
