ODU and Kansas were the most illustrative in making my point. But why those two, OP? Why Kansas and Old Dominion?
I mean, there are 25 teams on that list. You could've said Tennessee, UCLA, and Florida State. Or you could've picked the teams to either side of the Vols and said Tennessee, Louisville and Troy.
So why those two?
ODU and Kansas were the most illustrative in making my point.
It isn't hard. In fact, you've got it figured out.Ah, I see.
So what was your point?
I mean, you certainly didn't bother to state your point in the original post. In fact, you said nothing. Are we supposed to glean the point from the puzzle of Kansas and Old Dominion?
-- Schools you attended?
-- We're going to become a basketball-first college?
-- If we rearrange the letters, they spell out "I am Lord Voldemort"?
It's not just that we're "in the bottom 25," because that would be true of any schools you might pick from that list. And it's not that "we suck" because there have been dozens of other threads that already made that point. So it must be something particular. But what?
You have illustrated nothing by picking Kansas and Old Dominion, that I can tell.
Once again: what exactly is your point?
It isn't hard. In fact, you've got it figured out.
Kansas is not a football school. No one even knew Old Dominion has a football team. UT is listed along with the likes of these in the national media.

I wasn't trying to make a point. Just bored at work and thought I'd stir the pot.And with the likes of Florida State, UCLA, and Louisville.
Good programs lose opening games to other good programs. That doesn't mean we're excellent. It also doesn't mean we're at the level of Old Dominion. It simply means we lost our first game.
Your point, now that I think I understand it, OSD, isn't very valid. No disrespect, it just isn't.
